Description: This 1837 Ungraded Liberty Head Coronet Matron Head Type Large Cent has good detail around the ear area and the Liberty band. I think it is of the Medium Letter variety, but I am not sure of that. It has obviously Never been cleaned, dipped or polished. This coin will be packaged in a Day Mount Flip Holder with four carefully placed staples to ensure that it is air-tight and secure. This coin is being sold in an Ungraded state. I believe that grading is mostly a matter of opinion, regardless of who is doing the grading. Even amongst the more highly respected grading companies, differences of opinion and grading standards exist.
