The date is very faint, however the beaded cords and small letters on the reverse are the "head of 1838" variety only used between 1837-1839, allowing us to decipher the date a lot more easily. It has been cleaned at some point and has some damage on the E in CENT on the reverse. Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have.
