After buying it I replaced the Potted Motor and Bobbin Winder Wheel, as well as purchasing an extra bobbin case, bobbins, and walking foot.Comes with extra notions as shown. When it arrived at my door there was shipping damage to the Bentwood cover and base, which I repaired (as shown). The lock is funtional and holds the cover to the base. The machine runs very well, in forward and reverse. I ended up not needing it after buying a new Janome HD3000.
