Description: 1954 dated Korean War M1952A flak jacket. Size medium. Is a bit more green like in the second photo. Farm lighting. There are what appear to be three bulletholes in the back. This vest was found at the estate of Silent Partners body armor here in New Orleans. The company manufactured body armor from the 1960s-1980s maybe it was a test subject? Maybe they received it this way? Other than the holes the best is in great shape. The Korean War vintage M1952A flak jacket saw continuous service during the Vietnam War despite being officially superseded by the improved M69 armor. It was fabricated from 12 piles of ballistic nylon, weighed approximately 8½ pounds and featured epaulets; a zip front closure and adjustable elastic draw cords on each side. The jacket and also had grenade hangers over both cargo pockets, the left one of which contained a pen compartment.
