Description: Up for sale is a tough to find vintage Universal Geneve pocket watch, from the early 1970s, is powered by the robust inhouse Caliber 52. The watch features a beautiful radial brush original dial and is in excellent visual condition. The pocket watch displays signs of wear consistent with its age, including scratches and minor "fleabites" on the case. Despite these signs of use, it remains in overall good vintage condition, with its charm and character intact. The service history is unknown, and while the movement runs, the amplitude seems low and we are unsure how well it keeps time. A service is recommended. Like other brands, UG pocket watches from this era are difficult to find, particularly as they were likely produced in limited numbers as presentation pieces. Get this one while you can -- Vintage UGs are becoming very collectible expecially since Breitling plans to relaunch the company. This is a must have for a UG collector.
