1998 DONRUSS LEAF ROOKIE STARS RED CRUSADE REFRACTOR #110 DAVID ORTIZ #/25 EXMT

Description: My all time favorite 90's set! This is a grail-type card for many collectors, cards like this only very rarely come available. Serial #'d out of 25, this one presents beautifully with a trend setting refractor shine. With such a big card I err on the side of conservatism: pegging the condition on this one at EXMT. There is a horizontal refractor line visible on the front. The back has a couple of light surface scratches but they are only visible if angled up into the light. A comparable quality Ortiz Red Crusade just sold via no reserve auction for $4500 - prior to that there had not been one to sell in somewhere between 3-5 years. It is a tough one! Priced here in line with the recent sale. I also have a more spendy PSA 10 available in my ebay store, it is presently listed along with Green and Purple PSA 10 Ortiz Crusades - open to breaking those up if need be, but I thought it most fun to group them all together.
