Description: 1998 Suhr Standard Custom. Incredible wood and incredible guitar. Early production Suhr with crazy quilted maple top and insane flamed and birdseye maple neck. Super dark rosewood fingerboard, could possibly be Brazilian. Flat mount Floyd Rose tremolo system. Hum-Single-Hum pickup configuration. I am not sure which model Suhr pickups these are but they sound great! Sperzel Tuners. Signed in silver ink by John Suhr himself. Serial number 285 also in silver ink. I checked with Suhr for a build sheet on this instrument but they were not keeping good records then and had no information. Guitar weighs 7lbs 7-1/2oz. Nut width is 1-5/8” and 12th fret is 2-1/16”. This is a fantastic playing, sounding and visually striking example of an early Suhr guitar. Near mint condition. Comes with original hard shell case. Shipping will be $150.00 in the CONUS.
