Description: 19th C. Masonic Knights Templar Pair York Rite Leather Cuffs Gauntlets Identified c. 1883 Rare circa 1883 Knights Templar York Rite leather regalia cuffs. Overall good condition with some wear, some tarnish on the buttons, some fraying stitching, and leather is a bit dirty on the back side. Please see photos. Buttons read “In Hoc Signo Vinces” with York Rite crown and cross. Bears an embroidered Red Cross with gold stitching. The owner’s name is printed inside the cuffs “F.C. Bartholomew”. Any questions please feel free to ask. Belonged to Francis Cook Bartholomew (1820-1899) from Wallingford, CT, New Haven Commandery, No. 2, K.T. As stated, he was knighted November 16, 1883.
