Description: Here is wonderful copy of Stephen M. Irwin’s first published novel The Dead Path. This is a first American edition first printing as shown on the copyright page published by Doubleday in 2009. This title is a true ghost story dealing with spirits in the wooded landscape off Carmichael Road. I bought this based on the cover and the synopsis from the front flap and I’m a sucker for author’s first works. And the Australian writer did not disappoint. The book is an excellent copy. The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The black cloth boards are virtually spotless with the exception of two small spots towards the lower right of the front board. The red gilt lettering of the spine is in excellent condition as well. The two spine ends have some bumping with the bottom end being more prominent. This copy has a red remainder dot to the lower page block as shown. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap as seen in the posted images. The dust jacket has little to no wear whatsoever but for a remainder line through the bar code on the rear panel. The jacket comes in a Mylar protector which can easily be removed should you wish to. This copy will make a wonderful addition to any collection or library. Please see all pics and ask any questions you may have and as always I never list ex library or book club editions so buy with confidence. And please check out my 100% positive seller feedback!!! Thanks for looking.
