Description: DESCRIPTION: This set of two antique amethyst glass open salt cellars feature intricate intaglio designs on the bottom. I believe these date to around 1890-1910. The round shaped one features a little cupid conversing with a woman surrounded by an etched garland. It measures a bit over 2 1/4" in diameter at the top. The hexagonal shaped one features a boy playing with his dog. It measures about 2 1/16" across. These little Art Nouveau gems are a unique find and are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any dinner table. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no notable chips or cracks. The hexagonal one does have a very teeny nibble on the rim (quite minor, but see last picture).
