The non-magnetic Nuts are 5:40 Thread for 1/8" Axle. New Old Stock. For 1/32 1/24 1/25 scales. Note: Measurements 1/8" X 2 1/4" Long axles with 5:40 threads on each end. Stainless Steel Finest Axles Made: For superior performance and longest possible wear. Precision ground to .125 = .00025 (1/8") diameter. Accurately machined 5-40 NC-2 threads with chambered ends. Manufactured in the 1960s by Cox Manufacturing. Cox Part # 3281-2. My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.
