There are a few plants that we are very honored to be able to offer to our clients and this is one of them. Colocasia midnight is a rarely offered colocasia and not found in many collections. Midnight is a sport of colocasia mojito. In batches of colocasia mojito, there are very small amounts of plants that emerge with a full black color. The black on these plants is darker than any black seen on any other varieties of colocasia. It is so black that it’s name was derived from the breathtakingly dark appearance. These plants are not made available very often as it takes massive amounts of mojito production to create a tray that can be offered as midnight. These probably will not be available again until next year so please enjoy them while they are available. The first photo shows colocasia midnight next to a colocasia mojito so you can see the origination of the sport. The second photo shows the brine green variegation that some leaves put out. The photos after the first and second one represent the size and color of the plant you will receive. We are very pleased to be able to offer colocasia midnight for a limited time.
