Description: 2 Vintage Dolls Sugar Britches Boots Tyner Design Signed DWT Dated 1986 & 1991. The larger white clothing doll measures about 20" long and back of head is marked Sugar Britches Repro Boots Tyner Design DWT 1986. The other doll blue clothes measures about 15" long and the back of head is mostly covered with the hair but I could read DWT 1991. The larger doll has a wonderful turquoise glass beaded necklace. It was suggested these dolls are Native American types. Both are in good condition with no cracks or chips, may need to be cleaned up a bit from years of storage - see detailed photos. Boots Tyner is the doll artist who designed several dolls in the '80s, most notably "Sugar Britches." Carolyn Boots Tyner, 69, passed away on Friday, September 19 2014 at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan Texas.
