We will send you a unique selection of eggs and every egg will be covered by a rooster that also hatched from a colored (either a dark egg, an olive egg or a dark olive egg) so the possibilities are endless. These eggs are perfect for those looking to add some colorful egg layers to their flock! These birds are handled daily and are the result of more than 7 years of selecting and breeding for color. We select birds based on size of body, personality, and color of eggs laid. Most birds are multi generational rainbow layers but there IS the possibility of receiving purebreds (especially in the MARANS breeds since our flock is heavily Marans influenced). You will receive the freshest, most colorful eggs I have available. The smallest birds in our flock are the crested creme legbars. We have a couple percentage bantam cochin hens but do not keep any bantams in the flock so all eggs will result in full size chickens. The handful of bantam crosses that we have in the flock all lay a colored egg (either dark brown or green) and this is why they warranted keeping back - they also make great broody mommas!
