BLADE WASHER for a Delta Unisaw - New - HEAVY DUTY

Description: Heavy duty blade washer for your Delta Unisaw table saw. Fits many other brands of table saws as well, if the arbor diameter is 5/8". Some say it makes an excellent washer for their lawn mower blades. This is a "new" heavy steel depressed center washer. The contact surface of the washer to the saw blade is at the outer edge of the 2.5" diameter washer, creating the perfect match on the opposite side of the blade to the flange on the Unisaw's arbor. We had 100's of new-old-stock "stamped" washers made by a large power tool manufacture for just this use...as a blade washer. However, we SOLD OUT......so we decided to manufacture our own and of even better design and quality. Our "NEW" washer is fully machined from solid steel stock. It is beveled on the backside and has a depressed center on the blade side to insure good contact at he perimeter. Our washers are black oxide plated after machining for corrosion protection.. Using a large diameter blade washer that matches the arbor flange diameter of 2.5" helps stabilize the saw blade. The blade washer is made of .250" thick steel so it will not deform over time with extended use. Each heavy duty blade washer weighs 3.7 ozs by itself. This washer is a perfect compliment to our recently discontinued 5/8" - 12 left hand threaded Delta/Rockwell arbor nut. We had to discontinued the nut because we lost our long time machinist for this item and have not been able to replicate the perfect special thread for the millions of arbors out there that vary a small bit in pitch and dimension and have not been able to find the one-size-fits-all center of the road. Even the slightest discrepancy prevents the nuts from fitting to the likes of numerous customers so we elected to discontinue the arbor nut.
