Description: Item Description: This is 6+ 1 fertile hatching Zombie/MoonBeam hatching eggs raised on Cardinal Acres Farm in North Carolina. Our Zombie chicks are sired from a handsome Ayam Cemani rooster crossed with several White Leghorn hens. Zombie chicks commonly have melanistic traits that make them an appealing breed. The skin, eyes, legs, crown and waddles take on a unique grey coloration while the feathering is often white with black spots making them a centerpiece in farm conversation. We regularly hatch from our flock to ensure a healthy hatch rate. As the standard, we ship USPS priority mail. If you want to use another form of shipping, we ask that you reach out to us first. Upon receiving your order, we will ship as soon as our hens lay the eggs, usually within a couple days. We do not stockpile eggs to ensure you get the freshest eggs available. Occasionally, this means we may not be able to ship eggs right away, but we will send you a message if we see a delay of more than three days. We want your experience to be as positive as possible and take as many precautions as possible on our end to ensure your satisfaction. If you do live in the Raleigh, NC area, you can feel free to reach out to us for local pickup. Our standard shipping method is through USPS Priority as most of our shipping foam is cut to precisely fit a priority USPS box. If you plan to purchase a different shipping option, please reach out to us before the purchase. Our experience with USPS Ground Advantage has not been positive and we have a strong preference against shipping through this method. If you wish to purchase eggs from us and have them delivered there, please reach out to us first and we will offer you UPS shipping direct. If you are in this (FF)area and purchase eggs with USPS shipping, we will immediately cancel the order and issue a refund. This area has too many USPS shipping issues to use USPS. Thank you for your understanding about this issue. Our packaging comes in a thick foam padding specially made and proven for safe shipping of chicken eggs. We also utilize bubble wrap between the layers of eggs for extra protection. We the extra mile in our packaging to ensure you receive fertile eggs.If you receive broken or cracked eggs from USPS mishandling, please take photos immediately and file a claim with USPS. Every package is insured up to $100 but requires photos as proof. It is very unlikely with how we package our eggs, but things do happen. If you do have an issue with broken eggs, please send us photos as well. Although we do not offer returns, we want you to be happy and will do our best to work with you. Due to the nature of incubation, we do not allow for refunds. We take many precautions to ensure you get the freshest eggs possible in the safest manner possible. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor incubation standards away from our farm. We highly suggest leaving the eggs large end up for a minimum of 24 hours after receipt in order for the air sac to settle giving you the best possible hatch rate. We also suggest candling the eggs, inspecting for cracks in the shell and status of the airsac prior to placement into your incubator Lastly. We highly recommend having your incubator running at proper hatching temp (100.5F optimum) and humidity (50-55%) for 24hours before placement.
