Description: A beautiful reproduction of antique French Bebe doll. She stands 18" tall and is all porcelain, jointed at neck, shoulders, and hips. She has sapphire-blue eyes that appear to be glass, her hair is red mohair, pierced ears with earrings. She is incised on the back of her neck - I cannot make out what it says, probably the name of the artist that made the doll. The doll is wearing a period seamstress-made outfit that is made from high quality vintage fabric; the jacket is made of jacquard and is tagged - "Dolley Dainties." She is wearing lace stockings (one is shorter than other and may have to be stretched to fit properly), the rubber band on the bloomers is a bit loose. Her outfit includes a gorgeous hat decorated with a bow and a feather. A small gold-tone brooch attached to the neckline of her dress says "Bebe."
