Description: Payment | Shipping | Policies American Brilliant Cut Glass HARVARD Pattern Lamp With Mushroom Style Shade Rare Elegant late 19th /early 20th century American Brilliant Cut Glass lamp. Mushroom style shade beautifully cut in the "Harvard" pattern, with its fine strawberry cuts and single stars. Early electric dual cluster socket with original chains and acorn pulls. Column with horizontal cuts that widens to an elaborate base. The base is a combination of smaller-scaled "Harvard" and alternating with an ovoid shape containing a hobstar flanked with small scale cross-hatch cutting. I could not find a mark. From a collection with some exceptional pieces, others will be listed as well, so please check our ebay store. The glass is in exceptional condition. There is some minor wear and fine scratching around the base of the shade where it sits on the rim, which does not show. There are a couple of tiny, shallow nicks on the edge. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever. Examined under a high powered magnifier. The base is extremely clean as well, with no issues. The metal portion of the lamp shows some wear, and there is an old repair at the base of the casing that holds the wiring. Everything is structurally solid. The wiring and pull chains are in excellent working order. Measurements: The shade is 10" wide at the rim and measures 12" across at its widest point. The lamp is 19" tall when assembled.
