Description: Angel's Flight Railway (1967) Bunker Hill - Los Angeles, CaliforniaRobert Farrington (1924-2011) I purchased this painting for my mother nearly two-decades ago because she grew up in Los Angeles and had a fondness for Angel's Flight. It became one of her favorite pieces of art. Since it's been in my family, it's been displayed away from natural light and heat and occasionally dusted with a soft, clean brush. The outside of the frame measures 12 1/4" x 24 1/4" x 1 3/8". It's brass tone with a brushed finish on the outside and does have a few scratches. The painting is oil on canvas, signed to the lower right: R. FARRINGTON, BUNKER HILL CALIF. '67. (There's some wear to the name.) Looking at the back of the canvas, there are no rips, tears, punctures, stains, or impressions (stretched areas). I'd describe the painting itself as being in excellent condition.
