Anita Bryant is pictured as a Senior with 6 great shots, including her posed Senior photo (pix 1), a candid at the basketball game, a shot of her as Band Queen Finalist, in the Thespian Troupe, in Choir and singing at a Christmas Concert. She was 2nd runner-up in the 1959 Miss America Contest and became a top selling recording artist, with Paper Roses, etc. Then we have David Gates, who is also a Senior in this book. David was an arranger, composer, producer and finally, was lead singer of Bread. He led them to 8 consecutive gold albums, with the group now being in the Vocal Music Hall of Fame. David also appears in 6 great shots with his posed individual head photo (pic 2), a GREAT shot of him as a cheerleader (pic 3), and then another, more casual posed head photo as a member of the Student Council Who's Who, another student council shot, an orchestra shot and finally as a member of the Round Up board. Finally Leon Russell (whose name at that time was Russell Bridges) appears as a Junior in this book. Leon is a legendary musician/songwriter and is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011! He appears with a really nice posed individual head photo (pix 4), and while he is in the Marching Band, there is no photo for that. This book is in excellent overall shape with some rubbing to the spine and only one signing that I noticed in the back pages of the book The pages are bright and retain their original gloss.
