Antique Ashworth Brothers American Marine Plate 9.5” GLA Bros c1870s Brown AS IS

Description: Collectible Staffordshire plate by Ashworth Brothers GLA & Bros - American Marine Pattern, depicting seascape with a large ship on the background and smaller boats and ships. Decorated with brown transferware decorations, Circa late 19thC. Measured about 9.5” wide. This plate is a lovely example of English transferware ceramics of the 19th century, Victorian era. Condition: Sold As Is due to notable crazing and crazing lines throughout. (please see pictures ). Other than that - areas with discoloration and brown spots. Age related wear to decorations and enamels, wear, minor scabs and blemishes around the rim and the underside. Use related marks and scratches: Production/firing related flaws.
