Description: Antique Chinese Applied Faces Fan Carved Sticks Circa 1850 With Box A fantastic Chinese applied faces fan with original box, circa 1850. The fan features a hand painted double paper leaf with multiple figures on both sides having applied robes and faces, and finely carved sticks. The purple color used one one side is very unusual for these fans and rarely seen. The orange, green and blue are typical colors. The fan is is very good condition with only some minor issues at the edges of the leaf. Please view all photos carefully. The guardstick is 11" long. The fan comes with it's original fitted presentation box which is also in good condition thought it is missing the little button that keeps the lid closed tight. Please view all photos carefully.
