Description: BEAUTIFUL Antique English 19th century Tea Caddy/Box~ Burl wood with Mother of pearl and Brass strip inlays Beautiful wood finish, 14 x 7 x7" , and ORIGINAL KEY The outside features recessed panels, inlaid brass borders and mother of pearl disks, and lovely wood door knocker style side handles. The inside of the lid is also finely veneered with burl, as are the lids on the two removable boxes and the surround to the hole. Sadly there is no longer a glass insert. The bottom retains the original green felt. The bottom back right end has a small veneer loss, but the box in general would be considered excellent. I don't know if there is anything missing down in the round hole, aside from the glass. You be the judge. Such a nice box. All sales final, no returns.
