Item probably began as a Marble, made in Germany, but had bottom smoothed at some point so is now a paperweight. Weight is about 2 in diameter about 2 inches tall and weights 8 ounces. Glass on this one is cloudy with imperfections within. Exterior surface is rough and has bumps and dings. I think I located the pontil. Item was obviously used and enjoyed in year's past. Weight is unsigned. Current owner acquired this weight in 1985. This weight was on display in his home until recenlty. Please view pictures for features, details, contents and condition of this item.
