Description: In the late 1800s to early 1900s every Gym had Indian Clubs for Exercise. The Clubs (of varying weights) would line the walls of the Gym. These wrought Iron holders were mounted to the Gym walls and are what held the Indian Clubs and Dumbells in place. I've seen these before but never with the added piece of Iron that pivots to hold the Club even more securely (this pair could use some WD-40 to loosen the pivot piece) Stamped "NMCO" which stands for "Narragansett Machine Co." which was one of the largest Indian Club makers of the late 1800s-early 1900s. This pair shows a tiny bit of rust, but they are still in excellent shape. Note: The Indian Club shown in the middle 2 photos is NOT part of the auction.
