The outer spine has both tearing and fraying. There is no separation of the binding on the interior. The inside front cover page has the original library pocket and scan code. The third cover page has a portion of the dust jacket glued to the page for reference. There are beautiful undamaged photo plates on glossy photo pages in both the front and rear of the book. There are also black and white drawn illustrations undamaged throughout the entirety of the contents. The contents page has penciled librarian notations along the spine, along with 2 inked notations at the upper/inner corner of the page. The rear inside cover has an inked cursive inscription found at the upper/inner corner. There is also some tearing to the rear inside cover where library contents have been torn from the book.
