Description: ANTIQUE Schoenau & Hoffmeister BISQUE Head Doll 11 1/2" a wonderful cabinet size. She has brown stationary glass eyes and painted on eye brows & eye lashes. Her mouth is open and four teeth can be seen. On the back of her head is the outline of a star with PB on the inside. On the left of the star is an S and on the right is an H (Schoenau & Hoffmeister brand marking). Under the star is 9/0 to indicate the mold size used to make the head and body. Her arms and legs are string tied - an earlier type of doll making before ball and socket was used.
