The stamp reads "PICKMAN Ca CHINA OPACA SEVILLA, GRAN MEDALLA ORO PARIS 78" Charles Pickman ceramics won a gold medal award in Paris in 1878 Painted with a portrait of a lady. Oil on tile. Measures 8" x 8" or 20.5 cm x 20.5 cm Condition: Used condition, signs of wear on the tile, crazing in the glaze. The painting is somewhat worn - see photos If you buy it - please do not scrub it.
