The inset on the back has space for an artwork about 11.75" x 10 1/8", with a viewable art space of 11 1/8" x (just over) 9 1/2". It has a wire for vertical hanging, but obviously you can always change that. There are also vintage (but not antique) staples and tape residue. The frame is mostly a beautiful antique walnut patina, with a gilt interior and two ebonized rectangular details. It's overall in nice condition for it's age, with wear on the corners, and some wear and tiny chips on the front ebonized edge.
