Antique Vtg Victorian Converted Gas Pendant Gasolier Arts & Crafts Mission Deco

Description: Gorgeous Antique Pendant Lamp Excellent restored antique condition! Working well, recently wired and ready for you. This is an original gas fixture by Welsbach, now converted to electric with a new porcelain socket added. An early 1900's piece with patent dates of 1903-1911. It is also marked "Welsbach Size No. 3 Reflex" and "Welsbach Co Licensed Mfrs". The fixture is all brass and has an antique gold painted finish with tiny areas of wear to the finish and one tiny ding (see closeups). The antique glass shade has no chips or cracks and is stamped "Reflex" and has some patent information on it as well. The glass has its original vents / holes for the heat to escape from the gas fixture - so unique! Use one standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts (or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like). The light bulb shown is included, however it's not a brand new bulb so we can't say how much life is left in it. ;) It will get you started! Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
