Description: Apple HDI-20 1.4MB PowerBook Duo Floppy Drive and MicroDock Adapter M8061 M7781. For your consideration at this wonderful auction is a rare and vintage Apple HDI-20 External Floppy Drive 1.4MB disk drive and MicroDock Floppy Adapter. It is Apple model M8061 (part number 590-0719-A) and M7781. This drive and adapter will work with the PowerBook Duo 210, 230, 250, 270c, 280, 280c and 2300c, as well as the PowerBook 100 and Apple MiniDock. The MicroDock adapter has the required Floppy Drive port (HDI-20) for this Apple External Floppy Disk Drive, and one Apple Desktop Bus Port for Apple Keyboards and Mice that have the ADB port. The disk drive reads and writes disks that are Macintosh formatted 800k and 1.4MB disks, MS-DOS disks are supported with the proper utilities software installed. Functional as expected, is used. Wear and tear in the usual spots. Some dust and nicks. The rubber feet needs help and TLC. Please look at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
