Description: A wonderful addition to the decor of an art nuveau-art deco room. This little table has influences of both art nuveau and art deco. As such I would classify this as a transitional piece. It is made of iron with a well preserved polychrome finish with a nice even patina. It is 33 inches tall with the finial, which measures 7 inches of those 33 inches. The top, which includes the marble center and metal skirt, measures 15" x 15". Diagonally, the total measurement is 21". The marble top is 10" x 10". The finial unscrews to allow the metal piece atop the marble, and marble to be removed in 2 pieces. It may appear to be a break, but I do not believe it is. Anyway, it works, and does not detract from the beauty and uniqueness of this piece. The best way to reassemble is to set both pieces in place simultaneously.
