Description: A beautiful floral English tile from the Arts and Crafts period, 1889. Similar to a Pilkington majolica tile, this reclaimed tile is impressed with registration number "119027". Possibly a tile by J H Barret Ltd. It has light craquelure to its glaze and two edges that show signs of wear - see photo 2 (bottom right corner) and photo 4 (bottom left corner). You can also see a light scratch (centre right in the main photo) that is just superficial to the glaze. 6' x 6" (15cm x 15cm)
