These soldiers were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company. The figures are a mix of reproduction and original molds that were included in the famous Blue and Gray Battle playsets offered by Louis Marx and Company in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters.
