Description: This is a reproduction 27” Bru Jne #13 Bebe by Colleen Phillips. She has paperweight glass eyes with high domes and deep spirals. Her goat hair tailed wig is curly and golden blonde, very similar to what you would see on an antique Bru. Her composition and latex body is fully jointed and poseable with blushed and detailed forearms. Her vintage lace dress fits her just right and closes in the back with 4 snaps from top to middle, bottom is sewn closed. She wears fancy trimmed pantaloons under it. Her hat is really romantic with ruffle trim all around the edges and a beautiful ostrich plums adds just the right touch. Her ears are pierced with dangle style earrings. She is marked into her bisque with Colleen Phillips’ signature as the artist with the year 2007. Her antique stockings are silk and her suede leather shoes have ribbon rosettes on the French pointed toes. Her body has some crazing, the ostrich plum is discolored in a couple of spots and the inside of her dress has some stains (see photos). She was owned by a doll collector and was displayed in a cabinet behind glass in an airconditioned room in a smoke free home.
