Circa 1919 Poignant Vintage Memorial Photograph on Board; WWI era depiction of brothers, dressed as sailors and standing on the porch with US American Flags on display. This photograph was enlarged and printed with the name "Steven Washko" appearing across the image in the negative. Period writing on the reverse provides further detail and reads; "Joseph T. Washko - on the right, Steven R. Washko, Jr. - died 1919 at age of 4 of meningitis". Possibly the photographer archived the photo, marking it with subject's name, never imagining he would be asked to reuse the negative. Approximate mount size is 13" x 15".
