Description: Hi.I acquired this nice looking CARVER PST-14 Cassette deck in a antique radio auction, along with other things. It's the Pro rack mount version of their TD-1400 I read. The note on it said Left channel not working. I removed the top cover to look around, and the capstan belt was neatly balled up, laying on the bottom. I threw it away. I'm too busy to take this on right now, so here it is. I don't use cassettes here. Now, the gentleman that tests things at the auction knows antique radios, but not audio equipment. Take that for what it's worth. I did nothing to this except put the cover back on. Physical condition is great. I couldn't test it except it FF and REW work fine. Pressing play the motor spins, but with no belt obviously nothing happens. Needs a belt. It is remote control capable, but it didn't come with the remote. Ebay. It's a pricey deck working, and apparently not very common. Sold as-is due to needing a belt, and maybe more per the note that was on it. That's about it. Thanks.
