Description: I took these and the others I just listed to the natural history museum. They said these are most similar (looking) to fishing (net) weights. I have grouped the lots of weights by general appearance. From a private estate collection. Origin Santa Barbara County, CA. Any documents pertaining to this artifact were destroyed in the 2018 Montecito mudslide. This item (and the others I have listed) came from an anthropologist’s private collection. According to the estate manager, he was part of site excavations in many areas of Santa Barbara County, and the Channel Islands.
