Description: This is an original vintage 1940's can label for Contadina Asparagus Spears Packed by Hershel California Fruit Products Co. in San Jose, California. it is 11" x 4 1/4" and it was a file copy kept by the printer to keep as an example of the label. It is in overall nice condition, but at one time it was stapled to a box or something and at top right corner the top staple hole was torn leaving a small chunk from the label, and it has a tiny tear at bottom middle area that is hard to see and some light handling marks, see the photos. The date stamped on the back is Apr 4 1947.
