Description: Up for your consideration is a very rare D&A Warrior KWD 1000 HF linear amplifier. This example is from the local estate of an avid radio enthusiast and collector. In fact there were a total of 24 D&A amplifiers on display in this collection. I do not know when it was last used so I brought the amp up and a Variac over the course of two days. I then put it on the bench and made a video of it in operation. With a stock cobra 29 I was able to get a 900-950 watts out of it as shown in the video. I am offering this rare amp as a restoration project as it appears all the PS caps are original and should be changed before putting it into permanent operation. Currently wired for 110V.
