Description: Early WWII Czechoslovakian gas mask. Since the occupation of Czechoslovakia began in October 1938 it’s unlikely the Czechoslovakian military ever got a chance to use it, as Germany took control of all military facilities and equipment by the end of 1939. The straps have lost most of their “stretch” but the rest of the mask seems to be in good overall condition considering its age and what it’s probably been through. The lenses seem to be in great condition but I cannot guarantee its effectiveness as a gas mask, therefore it is being sold as a display/costume piece only. * This item was made in Czechoslovakia, NOT Germany. Unfortunately eBay does not recognize Czechoslovakia or its current name, Czech Republic as a country so it is listed as made in Germany because of this ridiculous error.
