Description: East Liverpool, OhioBus Terminal 5th St. at Walnut St.Circa Late 1940's Vintage Postcard View Standard Capture the nostalgia of a bygone era with this remarkable vintage postcard circa late 1940's. Transport yourself back in time to witness the scene of the Bus Terminal at East 5th Street and Walnut Street with period buses in the covered loading area. The Terminal had a beautiful art deco style interior with tiled walls and walkway around the 2nd Floor overlooking the bench seating area below. The terminal was used both for local buses and long haul Greyhound buses. The street on the right is Walnut Street and on it can be seen a bus with a split front wind shield which indicates it and the buses in the loading area are from the 1940's.This postcard is a true piece of history, bearing witness to a time when handwritten messages and postage stamps were the primary means of communication.
