Description: Up for auction is a one of a kind antique vintage photo of Eddie Plank. This photo is believed to have been displayed in Connie Mack Stadium / Shibe Park among other similar banner style photos as shown in a photo I have included. The photo shows the trophy room being packed away when the Philadelphia Athletics moved to Kansas City. The Name Eddie Plank on the photo is hand painted in white and you can see the other photos with the same similar white name on the bottom. The photo measures approx. 28" wide by 60" Tall and has wear and paper loss all around the edges and corners. It is mounted on a thick pressed style cardboard backing with tape on the top and bottom. The photo/backing is bowed inward slightly from top to bottom and is not perfectly flat. This will be shipped in a custom made wood crate for protection.
