Ex-cell-o Excello Type 206 Surface Grinder Spindle 10,000 RPM Rebuilt?

Description: Ex-cell-o Excello Type 206 Surface Grinder Spindle 10,000 RPM max. I do not know much about this spindle, I picked it up in a large lot of auction items. I believe this is a rebuilt spindle that was never put back in service. It was a bit tight to move initially, but after spinning it with a drill for a few minutes it has smoothed out dramatically - I assume old grease in the bearings. The journal on the left of the pictures appears to be freshly reground, which again leads me to believe that this is a rebuilt spindle. Other than that, I know nothing about this.
