Description: This is an exquisite - almost demure - necklace. The saphiret heart with its paste surround measures about 1.0" long by 0.75" wide. The saphiret is an ethereal blue color with a bit of red in sunlight (see photos). The chain - which was probably had more gold plating originally - is unusual but it adds to the sweet effect of the necklace.
