When we polished the guitar we found some very light blemishes in the dark area of the finish on the back of the guitar. I have included a picture pointing to the area where most of them are. They are so light you can only see them when you are holding the guitar with the light shining at an angle. Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. Per agreement with Fender the last two digits of the serail number were removed, and the original serial number is covered with a sticker that contains the serial number. Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping.
