Description: LONG WAVE UV Nice, bright orange fluorescing Sodalite in a water rounded Nepheline Syenite "Yooperlite" rock. These fluoresce under long wave UV light. White Albite, grey Nepheline and many black Hornblende crystals on this one. Rounded smooth from tumbling around in lake Michigan. Collected in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, along the Lake Michigan shoreline. 208 grams. 2-3/4" length roughly. NOTE!I use a ConvoyS2 LONG WAVE 365nm UV flashlight with a band pass filter installed for finding these and the photos, you will need one as well to see the fluorescence as nicely as seen in photos.
