Description: Folk Art Hand Painted Carved Wood Bird. This sweet bird is carved from wood with metal legs and painted in black and white in a folk art design. This bird measures approximately 7 3/4 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches from head to tail. It is in very good condition with a bit of paint loss on the beak, a small crack in the wood on the underside, and a mark (possibly paint) on the back of the head all of which I attempted to capture in the photos. The lashes and cross and dots design on the bird’s back make this a fun display piece.
