Description: Belgian Original 1950's Re-Release Movie Poster - Gaslight (1944), Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, Joseph Cotton, Angela Lansbury, Dame May Whitty, George Cukor, Psychological Thriller, Academy Award Winner Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the 1950's re-release of George Cukor's classic psychological thriller, Gaslight. A remake of an earlier British production, this film was nominated for seven Academy Awards including a Best Actress winning Oscar for Bergman. This poster if from the movie's rerelease in Belgium in the early Fifties. It employs the same exact artwork as the original release poster except for the absence of the MGM logo in the lower left corner of the artwork area. This theater-used poster is in good condition with some minor flaws and staining. It would make a great addition to your classic movie poster collection. DESCRIPTION: Gaslight (1944), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Directed by George CukorCOUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium; 14.5. x 21.5" CONDITION: Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed top white border includes remnants of imprinted theater exhibition information along with tape and pinholes. There are a number of small tears, bumps and minor crinkling in the surrounding white borders. Signs of moisture stains in the bottom-most portion of the poster. The lower right corner of the poster has been clipped. A tax stamp is affixed in bottom right area. Slightest yellowing of paper. Artwork is intact and colors are vivid. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for 21 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
