Hose features black PVC coating, PTFE inner liner and premium stainless steel braided armor. PVC coating adds great looks and abrasion protection to expensive parts, easy to clean and contains a UV inhibitor. PTFE liner is an inert material, compatible with all hydraulic and brake fluids and has a heat range of 158deg. to 500deg., also shields brake systems from moisture, unlike other materials. Stainless steel braid is superior in pressure rating, flame resistance and volumetric expansion to all other materials resulting in unmatched stopping power. The black zinc plated mild steel hardware exceeds the 48 hour salt spray criteria established by the Department of Transportation with a 72 hour salt spray test rating. Mild steel components are shatter proof and will bend, not break, upon impact unlike other common metals used in brake lines such as brass and aluminum.
